Why is meth addictive?

I wish I didn’t have to lose part of my family to drugs. I miss my Dad and his love and crazy stories. Why does meth have to be so addictive?

My sister was addicted to meth. She says you need it like you need to breath. I’m so grateful she is no longer addicted. I know she still thinks about using though.
