I wish my family didn't fall apart because my Dad’s addiction to crystal methamphetamine. Why is it so addictive?

Crystal methamphetamine has torn apart so many families. It is so addictive because it makes you feel good, but after a while it takes more and more of the drug to feel good, making one addicted to it.
