Why do you get addicted to oxycodone?

I hate prescription medication because people get the idea that you can’t become addicted because it’s given to you by a doctor. Lies! You can become addicted to pills just as quickly as you become addicted to Heroin. They are both Opiates one is just “legal.” Be careful with pills!!!

Although a doctor gives you Oxycodone, doesn’t make you immune to developing an addiction. The drug is used to relieve pain for things like a broken arm but has the ability to relieve mental pain as well. Take it from me, I abused Oxycodone for years and didn’t see it as a problem until I became homeless and started using Heroin. It’s a dangerous drug so be careful.
