Why do people become addicted to cocaine?

I’ve dabbled in drugs just a little bit. Mostly stuff like pot and pills, but my friend really wants me to try cocaine. I’m worried that I’ll end up being addicted. How does that work, will I be addicted after just one try?

Cocaine is a different kind of drug. You can end up falling in love with its stimulating effects really fast and start depending on it to get you through the day. Its a bad idea to try it, especially if your friends are already regular users. A lot of people use it to feel more social or confident about their lives and activities.
