  5. When to have an Intervention?
Asked: 2018-08-26 12:11:07
When is an intervention necessary? I think my son is abusing pain pills but I don’t want to scare him away from getting help.

Interventions are never a bad thing, they can only help your son realize he has a problem and deserve to live a better life. Most people don’t realize how bad their life has truly become. You could be saving him from years of damage.

An intervention can never hurt! If you notice your son is struggling, get some people together and try to convince him he is worth living. Even if he doesn’t admit he has a problem yet, he will still know he can come to you when he needs help! Good luck!
