What is exactly an enabler to an alcoholic? My best friend says i’m just as much to blame for her alcoholism because i’m her enabler.

An enabler to an alcoholic is someone who continues to make it easy for a person to drink. It may seem like your just trying to help, but your efforts never seem to solve the problem.
