What is addictive behavior?

My partner keeps telling me he’s going to leave me because of my addictive behavior. I want to overcome these, but need to know what the signs of it are, cos I think it’s just me and my problems.

If a substance is at the center of your life and it’s controlling you, then you probably are showing addictive behaviors. This thing is the most important thing to you, and your partner probably realizes that.
