I am telling my family that I am down for an intervention for my Uncle, but in all honesty, i’m not really sure what an intervention is. Can someone tell me?

Your Uncle must be on drugs to need an intervention. Which means the family wants to get together and let your Uncle know he need professional help to get off drugs.
