I know that in alcohol rehab, youll go through a detox process and then start pretty intensive therapy. There is a lot of behavioral therapy and group therapy where you spend time speaking to other people whove been where you are. I think that peer counseling is really helpful in these situations. The biggest thing to remember about rehab is that its an ongoing process. 40 to 60% of addicts will relapse even after going through treatment.

Rehab is good place. I promise your brother will get the help there that he needs. They will feed him lots of good food, and give him lots of therapy to help him with his problems so he can be better than ever.

That depends on the rehab. My uncle went to one that just took his money and then stashed him in a hotel. It was a total scam, and the CEO ended up going to prison. At a good rehab, I imagine youre going to go through scheduled therapy and classes and stuff that teaches you how to deal with your addiction.

Not all rehab centers are the same, and youll need to check out different programs before you choose one. Youll also need to evaluate the cost and the contribution that your insurance will make. The cost of an inpatient program is usually between 10,000 and $16,000. This is why its so important to make sure that you really dedicated to recovery before going through with the process. Youre going to spend a lot of time figuring out why you started using drugs in the first place, and learning how to deal with stress without them. Just like with anything, you get out what you put in.

There is no reason for you to be scared. Rehab is good for your brother. It will help him be a good big brother again. Help him get off and stay off drugs.
