How long to feel normal after opiate withdrawal?

I have tried to quit using opiates quite a few times but keep relapsing because the withdrawal symptoms are so intense and feel like they last such a long time. I feel like if I knew how long they really lasted I’d have a better chance of being able to stick with it and get sober. How long do withdrawal symptoms last when detoxing from an opiate addiction?
