I did it. I finally went to my doctor and asked for help to get off of heroin. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, in my doctor wants me to try Suboxone while I’m going through recovery and therapy. I’m afraid that I’ll just be trading one drug for another, how long will I have to take the Suboxone?

Suboxone saved my life. Every time I tried to stop using I relapsed, and the Suboxone made recovery possible. It’s not for everyone, so make sure the you’re not going to abuse it or end up taking it while using heroin. If you really want to get clean, then you’ll do whatever it takes to get away from that lifestyle. There’s no real time limit on how long you’ll need to take Suboxone, and that’s something you’ll need to work out as you go.
