Dude, it was the longest eight days of my life. I think it depends on how long you used and how much youre using every day. I was using like 10 times a day, and couldnt go even a few hours without it. Because of this, it lasted a lot longer for me than it has for some of my friends.

It feels pretty bad now, but it should only last around a week and then you won’t have the awful sickness that comes when you are getting over withdrawal.

I know that a lot of my friends who go through heroin withdrawals say it can take more than a week to get over everything. With the opioid epidemic claiming at least 44,000 people every year, its really important to get help as fast as you can. The withdrawals can be extremely bad, and sometimes methadone or other medications can help. You can only get these if you get help from a doctor or from a licensed rehab facility. If you are trying to make it through withdrawals, I would suggest getting a hold of someone who can help you first.

Heroin withdrawals are only supposed to last for a week, but I know they can go a lot longer with other things. Some people experience restless leg syndrome for like two months after they quit using opioids. There are some medications your doctor can give you to help you get through that without a lot of problems.

If you were using a lot, then withdrawing can take about 10 days. If it’s something you don’t think you can take, get some help from a rehab centre.
