How long does it take to overcome addiction?

Addiction is just part of who I am and the thoughts of changing scare me, but I know that if I don’t I’ll probably die. Does anyone know how long it takes, really, or is it different for everyone?

It is a little different for everyone, but getting into a good rehab program helps and if you can stay clean for 90 days, you’ll notice a huge improvement in your life.
