My partner is so sick after ANOTHER drinking binge and I want to convince him to get sober. How long will he be sick from withdrawal?

If he’s been a heavy drinker for years then usually it takes around 7 – 10 days to go through withdrawal. He can also go for a medically-assisted detox, which will be a little quicker and safer.
