How long does it take to get off percocet?

I’ve been taking Percocet as a pain med, but now I’ve realized that I’ve been on it too long, and it may be hard to get off it. What should I expect?

You’re going to experience withdrawal over 3 or 4 weeks if you’ve been using it a long time. You could try a tapered approach, which might work better, it will take longer, but you will have less ill-effects of coming off it.
