Someone in my home has a heroin addiction, the atmosphere is crap and it sucks... how is heroin addiction treated and what can i do about it?

The sad truth is that there’s really nothing you can personally do about it. The they need to want help and be willing to seek out rehab. If you are the home owner, then it may be time to give them an ultimatum and let them know that unless they are able to be sober the no longer welcome in your home.

Heroin addiction requires intense therapy and a facility that’s prepared to deal with withdrawal symptoms during detox. No one will be willing to get therapy unless they want help. There is no magic cure for heroin addiction and it’s a very long road to recovery. The best thing you can do is try to make sure that you’re safe and that you get yourself out of that environment as quickly as possible.
