I work from home it is a noisy, distracting environment 24/7. When I had a glass of wine the issues with work productivity and rocketing stress levels decreased but how do you know if your addicted to alcohol because I am getting worried that it could be happening to me.

If it comes to the point you cannot function/work without having some alcohol in your system, you will know it has crossed the line. It isn't about how much you drink, but more about why you drink and if you depend on that drink.

I think having a glass of wine to relax is normal and does not mean you are an addict. A noisy environment can get on the nerves. Is there a way to reduce that noise? What happens if you don't drink? If it really ruins your day, then yes, you might want to get an assessment and seek help.
