How do you help someone with drug addiction?

If someone that works for you starts off as a rockstar hire then out of the blue gets continuous poor review on performance, is tired 99% of the time and does not seem interested in doing the work- does it mean that they are on drugs?

To honestly assist someone to recovery from drug addiction is impossible, but there are some things you can do to try and speed up the process and that begins by putting your foot down. Putting your foot down isnt being mean or hating the person with the drug addiction but instead removing yourself as a resource for them to use and for the addiction to feed off of.
