How do you help an addict?

I know he has used opiates, benzos and alcohol recently- if not more. He claims otherwise but I know better than to take his word for it. Im not upset or mad at him I know hes an addict but I want him to get help and be better.

If he is using different drugs and alcohol. The only way you are going to get him help is through rehab, either in patient or out patient.
