I wonder why addicts are not able to stay substance free after going to treatment or a rehab various time. Im at a loss here, how do you or anybody help an addict?

As I see it, you can do your absolute best to help in all the ways you can think of, you can do an intervention, as those are sometime significant to the present circumstances, but just remember to take care of yourself FIRST in the mean time.

Presently, in my life, the time has come for the need to take my hands out of the equation for my nephew who's an addict. I feel horrible like I'm giving up on him but I've started to make myself to go Alanon meetings and it seems to be helping a lot.
