I think my mom is abusing oxycontin, is it addictive and how addictive is it? I'm a bit nervous about this.

From my perspective oxycontin is the gateway to a life into addiction hell. I say this because way way too many people end up addicted to oxycontin and then end up on street drugs like heroin to support their habit after the doctors quit prescribing them painkillers, in this case oxycontin.
