How addictive is crack cocaine?

The people I hang around with have taken up a new hobby of smoking crack cocain. Not really certain on how I should think about it, because I literally know nothing about it. So I'm on here to ask. It may sound like a dumb question but how addictive is crack cocaine?

I know personally how addicting crack cocaine is. I battled crack cocaine addiction for years until I got clean. It was only by the grace of a higher power that I was able to do so.
