How addictive is crack?

I believe that my boyfriend is now doing crack. I don’t know when this started but I found a pipe in his laundry, looked it up and found out it is a crack pipe. Does everyone who does crack get addicted to it? I think im going to lose my partner and my best friend. My heart is broken and i need some help understanding crack, what it does to people and how addictive it is.

Anyone who does crack is asking to be addicted for the rest of his or her life. Once a person gets addicted no matter what the drug that person is addicted till the day that they die. Crack cocaine is not a drug to mess around with, you will get addicted and it will consume and ruin your life.
