Can marijuana be addicting?

A friend of mine suggested that I look into getting a medical marijuana card. She said that she has one and it helps her with the anxiety as well as pain she has. I have a feeling that I shouldnt do marijuana even with the card I get scared about getting addicted.

I thought I wasn't able to get addicted to marijuana but I was wrong. After realizing I was addicted to the high I tried to get off and had physical withdrawal symptoms.

With an addictive personality, anything can be addicting. This is especially true for marijuana and other drugs. Personally, I believe that even though the prescription or in this case and medical card for marijuana a person can still get addicted.

I don't it's as powerful as heroin or meth, but I honestly think you can get hooked on it pretty easily if you got the right disposition. I know that sounds super broad, because you could get addicted to literally anything if you have a predisposition; but I think marijuana does mess with your brain directly.
