Can a drug addict love?

So my boyfriend five years has been struggling we're addiction and Ive stuck by his side for a while. I feel terrible but im thinking about leaving him I don't feel like he loves me. He a loves the drugs more than me and I don't think i can take it any more. I don't want to lose him but my life is falling apart and im afraid for me.

Thank you for asking and yes a drug addict can love but until they change I have to say in it's important that you take care of you. You can always tell him you're leaving and hope he gets better.. maybe then he will get it together. You are in my prayers
