My mother had a suspected bile duct blockage. They gave her morphine and we waited over SEVENTEEN HOURS for an MRI. We were told it was slow because it was Sunday. No food for over 30 hours by the time they ran the test. Then they blew her vein and ended up replacing a port because of it. She saw 6 docs who all told her a different story. When we expressed obvious frustration, we were told that yelling didn\'t help anyone. If I could give zero stars I would.

My nurses were amazing and so was everyone else. Wouldnt have chosen any where else to have my baby. My only concern is when we went to get his second newborn screening done in the lab ( pku test is what I think they called it ) they wrapped the bandage so tightly around his foot and ankle that it rubbed his skin raw. Please be more careful next time ):

I was in your emergency department March 1st 2019. I was denied the level of care that I needed by your ER doctor because I had legal marijuana in my system that I used to treat my epilepsy. He sent me home and both my doctors are calling me wanting to know why I was not admitted into the hospital. I told him and the nurses that I use marijuana to treat my epilepsy, and that I had approval from both of my doctors that work in your system. I am now so weak on my right side I can barely walk without a cane, and my speech is messed up and I\'m stuttering all the time. I am unable to properly recuperate from my seizures, because your doctor denied me the level of care that I need it. I need someone from hospital Administration to call me ASAP please. Last I checked recreational and medical marijuana was legal in Colorado. And oh by the way your doctor only cared if I was a drug addict... the whole time I was there I was treated like a drug addict, and I was denied proper care!

BEWARE!!!!! If you can make it to the Springs DO NOT COME HERE! They blew out two veins in the ER, was abused by OR staff when recovering from surgery, and then neglected by the nurses. I filed a complaint about all the issues with administration.

I went to the emergency room with 102.9 fever. Was told I had the flu and spent 36hrs in a private room. Everyone was very nice and took great care of me. I even received a card wishing me well, hand written by each of the nurses. I was treated like I was a family member. Thankyou you so much to everyone, doctors, nurses & staff.

Talk about a run around. Can\'t get anything done in a timely manner. Expensive too! Went in for a severe toothache on a Saturday night. Sure, I was in right away, but my visit was twice that of my root canal! Now I\'m trying to pay my hefty bill and can\'t even get an answer. I should have stayed home.

My daughter went in to the ER on Monday with numbness in her hands and feet, was there for over 8 hours, was sent home, went back the next day, issue was worse, was there for at least another 8 hours, went to St Mary\'s, went home. Back today, current Dr discouraging questions, threatening to kick family members out for asking questions, said he has to be comfortable with the family to treat the patient. Calls questions aggressive so they CAN kick out witnesses to their flagrant lack of professionalism or concerns for patients. Dismissed any possibility it is connected to her past surgery when I mentioned it, then had to clarify what surgery she had. I\'ll be reporting this to the Joint Commission and an attorney

This hospital is a nightmare in so many ways!! My Mother arrived by ambulance and the er doctor misdiagnosed her! He said she had pneumonia when in fact she had a heart attack!! These are critical mistakes!! In addition the security guy thinks he’s a big, bad cop. What a wannabe!! Pedro Rivera tried to bully me and yelled at me for no reason. If he hates his job that much maybe you should show him the door!!

I have Been to many hospitals before but have never been treated and made to feel like a worthless scumbag before. I understand the medical field is difficult to keep everyone happy and wheels moving. I am prior service as a army medic. But I had to stay in the hospital to await surgery and by all shock one of the nurses on night shift decided to make up lies about me, I guess to try to make her look important or maybe like a hero. She was going around telling her colleagues that she had caught me sneaking out to go smoke marijuana lol. I did tell the Drs up front that I take edibles for my back. And unfortunately I neglected to bring any with me. But this lie the young lady continued to tell grew even more as to say she had confiscated marijuana from me even though I never had it to begin with and by the 3rd night after this the staff were all coming up to me and asking questions about my marijuana being confiscated and why was I sneaking out to get high. This was just one of the many uncomfortable, disrespectful situations the staff had put me threw. I am going to call patient advocates and lawyers to see what I can do so no one has to be put threw that and looked down on. I feel deformation of character and the heppa clause both come into play hear. So be carful taking your loved ones to this place.

I love all of the fancy new chairs and construction and the expansion plans are all so impressive. Unfortunate they couldn\'t spend a dime on blankets or pillows or personal touches.

8 hours in the ER and still no sign of seeing the dr. We have been told multiple times by nurse Aimee that we are not a priority and we will see the dr when he gets around to it. Meanwhile she jokes with paramedics, others are loud so patients cannot rest. No compassion and empathy for patients! Very disappointing and very unprofessional! Being that they are no other hospitals and the have the market cornered they care is close to minimal

It is my families policy that when my grandmother is in the hospital we never leave her alone. She is very old and often she doesn\'t remember when doctors or nurses tell her things. When she was first brought in she was in ICU and they learned this about us, but then transferred her to a 0 privacy room that they call a semi private room and tried to kick us out at night. Why are there still semi private rooms, and how is this not a complete HIPAA violation?

I must have looked like a crazed maniac when I rushed myself into their ER the other morning. I can\'t speak right, and I was panicking about a possible stroke induced by contraindications of a new medicine I had been prescribed. I was in some type of shock that I lost all basic motor skills. I couldn\'t eat, drink, my brain and body were fighting. I was semi Locked inside myself and out was hell. The staff took wonderful care of me and it was very quick too. The compassion, empathy, and just over all the team that took care of me I wish I could repay them for it. They handled numerous patients with life saving skills you only see on tv. As a trauma 1 I\'ve had the privilege to see them in action on others worse off then myself. They were so professional quick in their triage assessments, if they don\'t know they will call other Dr\'s and consult with them. Thank you emergency room staff and any shooting members WHO helped too. God bless you all.

My mom was treated well, so I decided to write a review. The staff is friendly and considerate, the facility is clean, and her doctor was very professional. Her nurses didn’t know how to insert her IV, though, and ended up failing to get it in on multiple occasions. She’s got good veins; you can see them from a mile away. The repeated attempts hurt her. So, I’d recommend additional nurse training for their newer staff members.

My Grandmother was admitted for a pretty bad infection from diverticulitis. I read some of the reviews and I was a little nervous. When I arrived the nurse was giving her a shower and right away I could tell I had nothing to worry about and that my Grandmother was in good hands. I\'ve been sitting here observing every doctor and nurse that comes through the door. I am truly impressed and so very thankful for these professional angels that are taking such good care of the most important person in my life. Thank you so much.

I was airflighted to Parkview 9/30/18 after hitting a deer while riding a motorcycle; .all I can say is THANK YOU to all who enabled me to get through the next week; The staff were absolutely great ... from maintenance, to nurses to doctors .. Had 2 major surgeries at Parkview ,3 of my nurses were amazing ,but the rest of my experience was not so great , Not very clean ,my son noticed that the housekeeper wiped everything down with one rag , If I have to have any more surgeries ,I will definitely go to springs ,sad but true !

Normally we chose this hospital over cordon but, I am not sure what happened today. My fiancé came in by ambulance and I arrived almost an hour later. When I got to his room he was upset. He had been asking for a blanket and no one would bring one. So I went out to the desk and asked and the lady out there rolled her eyes and asked what room number and said she would be bring one. 40 minutes from asking I asked again and all I got was ok. An hour passed and at that time Mt fiancé pulled the help cord and they kept shutting it off and still no blanket. 20 minutes after pulling the cord a lady came in and threw blankets on him and said there now stop whining. Can\'t believe the disrespect from the nurses it is shocking. Not pleased with the situation.

It\'s pretty much the only choice in town, but incompetence and poor quality everything runs rampent here. Make a trip to springs or Denver unless you are bleeding out. We have a 4 day old baby, and the only way to check in for outpatient tests (not related to er) is to bring the baby into the ER! check in took forever, all the while my newborn is in an er with tons of sick people. This is just one example of poor thought and management in this facility.

Unfortunately I have to be here for a while but since I had to visit the last time a lot has improved. Including staff and some happier staff attitudes. ICU staff was excellent especially male staff. Food is ok green chili has good flavor and covers everything, turkey breast is also good.

Parkview is where I choose to have my first child and I must say I couldn\'t be happier with my decision to do so. The nurses in labor and delivery by far exceeded my expectations. They were supportive and helped me eveystep of the way. The rooms and facility\'s we\'re sanitized, and cleaned to a high standard! The food was good and I really enjoyed my 3 day stay. They give you all the knowledge about nursing and everything you need to know before heading home with your new bundle of joy! Hope this helps

My wife and I couldn\'t be happier with our delivery experience here. Kyelynn in the room service department is such a sweetheart and definitely deserves some recognition. All the staff on the recovery and delivery rooms are wonderful. Dad even has a place to sleep. Family centered, beautiful and comfortable setting. Thank you for making the delivery of our third child so wonderful.

I am an aspiring athlete and I have traveled the country to race dirt bikes. This weekend I happened to be here in pueblo. As a competitor in a dangerous sport I am aware that the risk is high for injury and death is even a possibly at such speeds. I experienced a traumatic accident and suffered a stage 2 puncture would to the rib cage, as well as a clean break to my left femur. I was in good care in the ambulance ride and was welcomed by more great caring people once arrived here at Parkview. In less then 24hours I have been under the knife and sewn back together in quick time. The kind of time that is fast but not forced. As I recoup before my discharge, I am still under a professional level of patient care while continuing to make a rapid recovery. From the nurses to the physicians, they are well mannered, well groomed, and of the utmost a sincere care courses through the hospital. I do not recommend getting hurt, however if hurt this will be a hospital that feels like home. Sure does to me being 1000 miles from home.

They treat their employees badly. They over work the nurses, give them no breaks, no incentives and their retirement plan is bad. My sister worked their for 30 years, gave her notice to retire. No thank you, no card, nothing. They fire their employees when they are ready for retirement. Parkview is a poor employer.

Experience #2 for my Dad. The first was horrific after major back surgery and this time doesn\'t seem to be much better. Unprofessional and rude nursing staff. A lacking physical therapy department. A nurse actually stated a disoriented patient is better than one in pain. What??!!

My Mother was at Parkview recently on the second floor East...Dr.Cade and the Staff took Excellent care of my Mother...Very Professional...While hospitals are not vacation resorts as some patients expect...My Mothers stay was as comfortable as can be expected...
