I'm Done Playing Games with this place! Just called the U.S. Health and Human Resources Department and complained to the O.C.R. Today they broke H.I.P.P.A.!!! Utterly and completely useless. The staff there is unprofessional, rarely show up to work, cancel appointments with the regularity of a German train schedule. There is only one person that I know of in the entire organization that was actually born to do this work. He's golden, the rest are not good enough for a compost pile. Unfortunately this gentleman cannot be at all stations covering all positions, and works out of the Orland, CA office, primarily. From social workers that put literally Everything before their clients, to receptionists (the original one) that LAUGH at the mentally ill, this place is nothing more than a government, bureaucracy mostly filled with people that only care about their paychecks. Today my daughter was put off because someone else was in crisis. Well guess what - SO ARE WE! We desperately needed her social worker's expertise today only to be given the shaft and put off for the umpteenth time in a row by this woman. Having said all of that - the Dr. there, Dr. Smith, (telecommutes from elsewhere for his appointments - LOVE THAT) is one of the better psychiatrists that we have dealt with over the years, as is his assistant. It's a shame that his staff at this location consistently drop the ball where his patients are concerned.

I feel that Glenn County Mental Health really helped me. They give you the skills to cope with your addiction out in every day life. The living corters give you the feeling of independence and the connections that I was able to make with the men in this program is like a brotherhood. My Councler and Client Care Manager really where tough but awesome. The Residental Technicans Troy, Dave,Nate,Austin And Todd where always there for me when I needed to talk or anything. And I really like the Smart Recovery Meeting led by Austin he does a great job.

This is my second time coming through Glenn County Mental Health. Many staff here actually care about the clients and are very helpful. Dave has helped me out so much both times that I was here. From being my first primary therapist to showing up in my home town to take me back when I didn't think I needed to go. Him being my interventionist has shown me he genuinely cares. There are a few staff that are great people in it to actually help the clients. The facilities are clean and safe. The one on one therapy is legit. Thanks to all the staff here but most of all thanks to Dave for getting me back here and believing in me.
