Alcohol Recovery Center offers Zoom classes mandated by the CA DMV. They ask that you join the zoom meeting at least five minutes prior to its scheduled beginning. I was joined in to the online Zoom meeting ten minutes early, but still driving home. I arrived home before class began, but wanted to comply with being connected early. When Sylvia, the class facilitator, saw that I was driving she disconnected me from the class without warning, talking to me, or even asking about my situation. It was still several minuets before the class even started! I stayed connected attempting to join for the entire two hours of the class, but was not let back in. The next day I called to complain to Blanca, ARC's office manager, but she only defended Sylvia's actions. I was not given credit for the class even though I was removed from class before it even started. Sylvia's actions and Blanca's approval of them is unprofessional, rude, and a complete waste of my time. What's bizarre is how Sylvia breaks the rules herself, but then arbitrarily enforces them upon others. I do not recommend ARC.
