My son is 100 days sober and still goes there for meetings and aftercare. He was in 3 other rehabs and ran away after a week or 2 he loved this place when he got out he wanted to go back after a week. The food is excellent the staff really cares and family Sundays are really nice.

IF I could give minus zero stars I would. When my son was there, they did nothing but let him not participate and let him sleep in his room. For a week. Then after that they said this wasn’t the place for him and basically kicked him out. But of course they WAITED till he had been their the amount of time that you DON’T or cannot get any of your money back. How convenient. They did nothing for my son, so basically I paid almost $4000 for my son to sleep in a cabin for for a week and a half. They play the commercial soo much. Find another place that will really care about you or your loved one and GIVE you the help you need, not just take your money. I give them NEG MINUS STARS.

If I could give it a negative I would. This place called me daily for money, for my 21 year old son. they refused to bill insurance for prescriptions. It's a joke,. I work in health care and the information being spoken about was incorrect. quite ignorant.

This facility is very good. Lisa, Craig, Alex, Ron, Nicki and Tommy are great, and most the other staff are too. There are two counselors who aren't good, but that's bound to be the case at any rehab treatment center. It's an old but historic facility in a lovely setting, with very small rooms. I brought a therapy dog with me for PTSD and they're supposed to put people with therapy dogs in "the Coop", whereupon you have a private room but they didn't give this to me for reasons that made no logical sense. My dog is large, weighs about 85 lbs, and old. A roommate wouldn't have worked. I'd been told previously by one of the counselors that this private room is FOR people with therapy dogs. So when they refused to give it to me I had to leave prior to completion of the program. I'd only been there one week, with three weeks to go. This was very unfortunate because I'd been considering staying an additional 2 weeks, but instead ended up having to leave 3 weeks early. The two counselors I'd mentioned who aren't good were the ones who refused me that room. It was a terrible mistake on their part. These two have other bad traits as well. But overall a good place.

This place has the perfect name...The Farm! Was like the addicts leading THE addicted. They promote serenity in their commercials however, not the case! The facilities and rooms are old, looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1964! Can’t tell the difference between the patients and the “ counselors “. Beware.

I have recently completed a 30 day treatment at Mt. Vista Farm! I came into the program broken, hopeless and beat! I was welcomed with open arms and a promise of a beginning of a bright future. The staff literally changed my life and helped me become the man I have always dreamed I could be. The staff was ALWAYS available 24/7 and helped me through some of the most difficult times I could NOT have got through alone. At times I wanted to give up and leave, but meaningful and caring advised from staff helped me stick with it and complete the treatment. I cant say enough good things about the CEO, CRAIG! Craig truly cares about all of the participants and constantly takes time from his busy day to interact with each one of us! He IMMEDIATELY addresses our concerns to assure the best treatment possible. Thank you MVF for saving my life and helping me to continue with the rest of my life as a GRATEFUL ALCOHOLIC!!

A facility that leaves people more broken then when they found them. I was a admitted for alcohol addiction. A developed a right pulmonary embolism and it was necessary for me to detox in safety. I was on heavy medication. That leads to dramatic exhaustion. After being put on contract to not miss groups, I did not have one outstanding attendance record.. But there was a female counselor who did not like my advances, my way back to myself, my way back to success. This counselor told on me for things that never transpired, things that never happened.. I was dumbfounded. Shocked. That someone could blatantly lie knowing fully they are sending an addict in need of help out to their own demise. Just because they felt threatened/uncomfortable. With someone young that already succeeded surpassed them in life. Everybody deserves a chance at sobriety. And just because you’ve seen my face and not my story doesn’t mean I don’t deserve proper curtsey or treat meant... or love

After 15 years of addiction my son FINALLY agrees to rehab. Unfortunately, it was for a very high tolerance/dosage of Xanax; a drug we painfully learned Mountain Vista Farms knows Nothing about. On intake, they said they'd immediately give him medicine to start the taper right after intake. Intake took 1 hour. He was told he'd get medical support by a MVF on-site Doctor. (There is NO on-site Dr.) He was NEVER given his medicine. Instead, they dropped him off at the emergency department to, "...make sure he was healthy and ready for recovery." He literally went 7 hours without medicine. He went into severe withdrawals while waiting in the hospital emergency waiting room. He lost speech and capacity to walk. NOONE from MVF escorted, or stayed, with him. He was literally dropped off while withdrawaling. We put $36,000 down to be part of a dirty, musty jail/farm house 6 x 10 room with a coked out roommate who immediately asked if my son knew where to get drugs. We couldn't get out of that money mill fast enough!
