If I could give a zero or negative I would. They denyed my wife her request for a patient bill of rights or a patient advocate. Was informed they didn't have either one. I was told they may not release information to me even tho we are married. Was thinking I was going to have to provide my marriage just to check on my wife's condition. Was told it had to be a legal marriage like I was lying bc we are both females. I think an attorney would better assist with this situation

I brought my husband in on jan 8 due to he wasn't feeling good. They tested him for flu told him he was on the verge of flu gave him scripts & sent him on his way without doing any blood work to get to the main issue. I brought him back in on jan 14 due to his issue with breathing was told he had pneumonia & they med flight him to little rock. I was told he most likely had pneumonia the entire time but due to Malvern not doing their job my husband almost died. He is still in the hospital having a hard time.

Good afternoon. My name is Shelly Thomas and I want to file a complaint for a patient seen there on Thanksgiving. I was very disgusted with the lack of care that he received. Especially after reading your policy about not being discriminated against. I felt that is the type of care he received. He came in with a gun shot wound from being an innocent bystander. He was told that he should stay overnight for surgery in the morning, only to be told that he should wait for the bullet to come out on its own. It was nowhere near his spine and that information was very baffling. He also was not given any pain medication when sent home the next morning only to be in pain constantly. The lack of care that he received was very disgusted and disappointing and frankly I expect more due to high reputation that you all have. I hope in the future you all will consider the fact that this could be you one day and give the next person considerable better care. Sincerely a very disgusted patient and will be telling everyone I know.

I pre-payed for my 3-day stay and surgery (November 11, 2013). I received a bill just a couple weeks post-op. I called and the nice lady I spoke with who is "in-charge" verified that I was paid in full and to disregard that bill.

They miss treated my wife while she was a patient. They stayed short handed. They ignored doctors orders. Nurses were sweet when you saw one. Even the Carti nurse spent more time on her butt at the nurses station than anything else. Not sure what her purpose was. I don't recommend them. Their quality of care is lacking. A patient there needs a advocate for care to be adminestered. My mother in law was afraid she might hurt someones feelings by rousting things up. I may get cancer in my future but want no care at Baptist. They are a big, numb machine that never looks in the mirror.

I just left the hospital about 45 minutes ago. I came in complaining of mild pains in the chest, heavy fatigue, nausea and shortness of breath - and even explained to the two doctors on call (11/29) and the nurse Jennifer that I had a heart attack in February and that I was scared and nervous because these symptoms mirrored the problem. I was given no meds to counter act the “inflammation of the chest muscles” and was told that my 178/133 BP reading was nothing to worry about. I then tried to speak with the nurse, who walked out and closed the door on me while I was speaking.
