Absolutely pitiful excuse of a hospital. If you have to go to the ER at this hospital ask for the female nurse practitioner..(Linda)she is the best thing going for them. The male Dr. K is very rude and cocky. I wasn't impressed at all. After arriving with my daughter having a " seizure like" allergic reaction we waited 45 minutes for a nurse to bring in Benedryl. The whole time my daughter is shaking and crying in pain. No one ever came in to give it to her. So I tried to get a nurses attention, and she blatantly ignored me. I tried to find the Dr, and I saw him watching movie trailers on the computer. By this time, I am furious!!! I got a wheelchair and wheeled my daughter out right past all the nurses and Dr. She could get better care at home. This hospital has really went downhill. Drive to Bham if at all possible! I will be filing a complaint to the administration.

Wife was admitted after a car crash. Although she complained of pain in her hand, it was never x-rayed. It wasn't until she was readmitted a month later and after much insistence that they finally found out it was broken. They treated it but it was too late and that hand is forever impaired.

Just filed a compliance report on this hospital. My Dad was supposed to be admitted today, because he couldn't be admitted last night due to no rooms. The Dr's office called after hearing from the hospital and he was told to be there at 1pm. He arrives only to be told, 'oops, we forgot to call the Dr's office back and tell them we DON'T have a room.' This hospital needs to be take over by a company who will completely revamp it with staff who can do a better job than this.

Thank you to a wonderful staff and to Dr. Davenport that helped turn a scary situation for me into a pleasant one yesterday while I had my gallbladder removed. Its nice to see such caring and professional people in an otherwise difficult and strenuous job. From admittance till they rolled me out to the car they treated me like I was a personal friend and eased my every concern more than once during the whole procedure. Thank you so much and my love and appreciation goes out to you all.

WORST HOSPITAL EVER! Sat there for FOUR hours just to be told "i'm sorry we can't do anything for you".

I am a Vet US. ARMY. Stopped because I have a case of food poisoning. I was treated like I didn't even matter. I would call for assistance and no one would come, or when they felt like coming to my room they would be like oh let me get your nurse and they would never come back. And they would never get my nurse. I had to unhook my own IV. To use the bathroom. And no one was there to assist me. I would see them standing around talking to each other like they were not busy at all. I cryed in pain for more then 1 hour. No one would come to my room. To check and see what I needed. I got there at 9am. Left at 3pm. I was in pain the whole time.

I visited Etowah Pulmonology, Dr. Masood more specifically. Service was adequate and I paid my copays at the time of service. However it was after services were rendered and I experienced their fraudulent billing practices that it all went down hill. I was billed by Gadsden Regional Physician Group Preactice LLC for an additional Dr. to review my sleep study when there were no irregularities. Upon calling to inquire about the additional charge the billing manager was very rude and hung up on me telling me I had no choice or say in the matter. Now when I call back I can only leave a voicemail and my calls are never returned. Gadsden Regional and CMS should look deeper into this situation and see how frequently they are padding their accounts with additional unnecessary charges.

We are here with my father-in-law. There are two guys and a women talking about buying a goat at trade day. They are making fun of the patients so loud that everyone can hear them. Using bad language and laughing so loud. This place is a joke! The nurses are a joke. One short blond girl is doing all the work while this crew is having a party. 11:46 June 13, 2017. People look at the shift register and fire these people.

Very slow unprofessional hospital. Took them 2 hours to call me make to take some blood that I had an appointment for over a month. Time before my blood taking i had an emergency procedure done and they gave me medicine I was not suppose to have do to rashes and making thowing up. I could feel the entire procedure being done. Took 5 hours for them to give me a medication that worked to take some of the pain away. They don't listen to you.

Staff was nice.. doctors nice...however..understaffed and unorganized...worst of all,we watched house keeping..walk from room to room..not cleaning..it's very dusty...dirt and grime on doors and walls..

Went in for rotator cuff repair. Two weeks later underwent a debridement and irrigation for MRSA infection in surgical site. OR was dirty when I was wheeled in. Was there both times for at least 8 hours and did not see one cleaning person, neither did my husband.

The physicians are great but the nurses are the most undertrained and incompetent people I've ever seen. They must have gotten their licences out of cracker jack boxes. At the moment my wife is in a room with kidney failure getting worse for seven days. The kidney doctor has told them several times to hydrate hydrate hydrate to no avail. She's supposed to get three bags of iv a day and only getting one. It seems a simple thing to do. We may transfer to Huntsville soon and contact a lawyer. Update: I just went up two stars after a heavy talk with the charge nurse. She's having the nurses to order an hour ahead with the pharmacy. Should have solved the problem before seven days. My wife is much better. Ah what the heck: five stars!

My mother and I have been sitting in the triage for 5 and a half hours with her having severe kidney pains. They took a urine sample, sat her in a wheelchair in the corner of the room, and nothing has happened since. They've called people back that were laughing and functionally walking. This is the worst medical center we've had the displeasure of visiting. Please consider alternatives unless you got 8 hours to waste on an understaffed garbage team of "professionals."

I have always heard great things about Gad. RMC. Not exactly what we received there this past weekend. I will be contacting whomever I must to tell them about our experience. First off my fiancée was diagnosed with pneumonia there in the ER. they were going to release him.. Had already took out his IV. And had his discharge papers ready. He told them we were going to Birmingham hospital when we left. Whem they asked why he felt he needed to go there he took off his oxygen and his oxygen stat dropped to 86. So immediately they put it back on amd admitted him. We arrived there at 11:30 am and finally got into a room around 6:15. The Er doctor told us they would put him on fluids immediately one he was upstairs (they had to do a 2nd IV SINCE THEY TOOK THE OTHER ONE OUT). About 2 hours after being in a room his temperature dropped to 94.7 being the lowest and only coming up to 95.1 for 24hrs. I told them he was septic before the knew. And he was!! Terrible experience. I could continue about the stolen items and Cursing nurses but i will stop here. Do not waste your time.

We have been in the ER since 6 at night and it is 11 at night and we still have not been seen and the nurse we have is very rude and they are saying that we need to stay here till the doctor sees us PS me and my wife been up since 4 in the morning
